MORNING BATH
2025
Gel ink on Molskine paper
6x4

My work is rooted in a deep connection to the natural world, from forests and meadows to the animals that share our lives. Part of my daily practice is to make quick sketches of my dog and cat each morning while I drink my coffee. I attempt to capture their movements and essence while they groom or snooze. This drawing ritual hones my observation and prepares me for working in my studio. I celebrate their beautiful physical forms and spirit within the larger rhythms of nature.
